As a development partner of the UPCX blockchain, Paycle participated in 「WebX 2025」, Asia's largest Web3 conference, which took place from Monday, August 25, to Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Tokyo Prince Park Tower. During the event, for which UPCX was one of the title sponsors, Paycle announced a strategic partnership with UPCX and NTT Digital. UPCX Stage at The Center of The Venue

At the “UPCX Stage,” located in the center of the WebX venue, speakers from Japan and abroad discussed the future of Web3 and payments. Former Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba delivered the opening speech, setting the tone for the venue by discussing the industrial significance of Web3.

Announcement of the Paycle × UPCX × NTT Digital Partnership

Paycle, UPCX, and NTT Digital have signed a basic agreement to implement a next-generation distributed payment system on a social level. Paycle will provide technical information on the UPCX blockchain, support technical specification coordination, and develop interfaces such as software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs).

Introducing Fanlink

Koki Sato, the CMO of UPCX, gave a pitch for "Fanlink", a fan engagement platform utilizing UPCX technology that is currently being developed by Paycle. Sato introduced the potential for new revenue models through tokenized memberships and direct value exchange.

Technical Support for Booth Operations

At the exhibition booth, Paycle handled technical explanations for the hands-on demos, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience features such as “scheduled payments,” “recurring payments,” and “escrow.” We received numerous feedback directly relevant to on-site implementation, such as “It seems to be designed for easy integration with internal approval flows and accounting” and “The standardization of escrow and recurring billing components seems to be easy to understand.” Multiple companies inquired about phased migration from existing systems and joint PoCs, leading to follow-up meetings after the event.
