[Paper Presentation] Presentation of research papers at the 42nd Sensing Forum, based on the research results of the USAP project
We are pleased to announce that two of our employees presented papers at the "42nd Sensing Forum", which took place at Gunma University's Kiryu Campus from Thursday, September 25, to Friday, September 26, 2025.

Presenter and Topic
Haruhi Eto (Specially Appointed Professor, Nagasaki University of Applied Sciences; Director, Paycle Inc.)
Presentation Topic: “Approaches to Monetizing Sensing Data: Preparing for the Explosive Growth of IoT Data”
Murohashi Taro(Paycle Inc.)
Presentation Topic:"Challenges and Prospects of Blockchain Utilization in Cloud Management of IoT Data"
Significance of This Presentation (Relationship to the USAP Project)
Paycle/UPCX is collaborating with the Next Generation Sensor Consortium on the USAP project, which aims to advance the development of a blockchain-based Internet of Things (IoT) platform. Additionally, we are conducting joint research with Nagasaki University of Applied Sciences to substantiate the importance of blockchain-based IoT data management. The USAP project aims to establish an architecture that reliably collects, records, and monetizes the vast amounts of IoT data gathered from sensor networks. The project recently unveiled its prototype, the “Sensing Train”. at the Sensor Expo.
These two papers present:
- Design guidelines to enhance the authenticity, traceability, and governance of sensing data
- A concrete model for data management and value circulation through blockchain/cloud integration
They academically substantiate the USAP implementation roadmap.
